Hyaluronic acid is generally considered safe for use in cosmetic treatments and skincare products. It is a naturally occurring substance found in our bodies, particularly in the skin, joints, and connective tissues.

How long does a skin booster treatment last?

Patients are advised to undergo the treatment on a monthly basis for the initial 3 to 6 sessions in order to achieve optimal results. Afterward, maintenance treatments should be scheduled every 6 months. The effects of the treatment typically last between 6 months and a year. It’s important to note that individual results may vary depending on lifestyle choices and other factors.

Are skin boosters painful?

Skin boosters are generally very tolerable.

Numbing cream will be applied before the treatment to reduce discomfort. Most skin boosters also have anesthesia mixed in.

What is the downtime of skin boosters?

There is minimal downtime and patients can resume normal activities immediately after treatment.
